PHILADELPHIA -- Tonight's game with Colby Lewis taking on Cliff Lee has some interesting comparisons.

For one, Lee, the highly-paid left-hander who spurned the Rangers' financial offers for the Phillies, is struggling. He hasn't won a game since April 14 and is 0-3 with three no decisions since then. The Phillies are 2-4 as a team during that.

"I would like to get a win every start I make," said Lee, who is 2-4 with a 3.84 ERA. "So this next one is the one I want to win. But that's something you can't really control. My job is just to keep the game close, put up as many zeroes as I can, get as deep into the game as I can. If I do that, that's my job."

In his last start at St. Louis on Sunday, Lee walked six and struck out four while facing 29 batters.

"My last start I walked six batters, so that's not that good. But I was able to get into the seventh inning," Lee said. "There was some good and bad with that. I take pride in not walking guys, so walking six, I'm not very happy about that."

Lewis, meanwhile, also had a rough April. He went 2-3 with a 5.70 ERA and allowed 10 home runs.

May has been different. He's 2-1 with a 1.48 ERA and has held opponents to a .205 batting average against.

In his last start, Lewis struck out seven and picked up a shutout in a 4-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

"I think it's just throwing the ball the way I've been throwing it and commanding the fastball and all your pitches," Lewis said of building off his last start. "That's the biggest thing. Just follow the game plan as much as you can. You want to be consistent. Over the course of a big league schedule that's all you can do."
