Lineups: Beltre will DH again tonight

ARLINGTON, Texas -- For the second straight night, Michael Young, and not Adrian Beltre, will start at third base in tonight’s third game of the four-game series with Oakland. First pitch is 7:05 p.m. at Rangers Ballpark.

Beltre remains in the lineup as the designated hitter for the sixth time this season and will bat cleanup. He learned on Friday that he will start at third base in Tuesday’s All-Star Game after the Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez pulled out with knee soreness.

“It was a chance to give him back-to-back days off,’’ said manager Ron Washington. “We’re on the same page. He didn’t fight me and I like that.’’
