SEATTLE -- Rangers pitcher Cody Eppley represented Round Rock in the Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday and pitched a scoreless inning for the Pacific Coast League. Eppley, a submariner, came in for the seventh inning and induced three ground balls (two to third base and one back to the mound) on eight pitches (six strikes).
Also, the Rangers released RHP Seth McClung and RHP Manny Delcarmen from Triple-A Round Rock. Other transactions: LHP Yoon-Hee Nam was promoted to Class A Hickory from Arizona. INF Jimmy Swift was promoted to Double-A Frisco from Arizona and INF Tommy Mendonca was placed on the temporary inactive list at Frisco.
