Cruz, Torrealba help Rangers to 7-3 lead

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Nelson Cruz is picking a great time to get hot.

With Adrian Beltre out with a hamstring problem, Cruz is contributing to the RBI cause in a big way.

He has two RBI doubles tonight, giving him five hits in his last six at-bats. Four have been doubles.

It took a little longer for the Rangers to get going compared to last night, but Texas leads Minnesota, 7-3, after four innings.

Catcher Yorvit Torrealba, rested the last two nights, cranked a 3-run homer run in the fourth to snap a 3-3 tie. It was the fourth home run of the season for Torrealba and his first since April 25.
