He threw 38 pitches and had two walks and no strikeouts with two hits allowed. ...Wilson finished the season tied for the big league lead in starts (34) and posted the most strikeouts (206) by a Ranger since 1990 and had the lowest ERA (2.94) by a Texas qualifier since 1991.
Moore (1-0, 2.98 ERA): The rookie has one big league start, throwing five shutout innings against the Yankees on Sept. 22 at Yankee Stadium with 11 strikeouts. ...Moore, 22, made his debut on Sept. 14 after spending the season splitting time between Double-A and Triple-A. ...In the minors, Moore was 12-3 with a 1.92 ERA in 27 starts (155 innings) as he split time with Double-A Montgomery and Triple-A Durham in 2011.
