Rangers to host pitching mini-camp

The Rangers have decided to bring back their pitching mini-camp after a one-year hiatus. So the club's young, upper-level pitchers will come to Arlington from Jan. 17-20.

The list of players includes Alexi Ogando and Neftali Feliz. The team wants to check in on them, especially Feliz, who is making the transition back to starting pitcher for the first time in a few years. Ogando and Feliz will come in early and work out and then be in attendance for the first day of camp.

Greg Maddux will also attend as part of his first duties with the club as a special assistant.
