SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Japanese pitcher Yu Darvish will make his first Cactus League start on Wednesday, March 7, at 2 p.m. central time against San Diego in Peoria.

ESPNDallas.com's Richard Durrett joins us from Rangers spring training in Arizona to provide a daily Yu Darvish update, discuss Josh Hamilton's latest comments and more.

The game will be broadcast on a webcast on texasrangers.com and live in Japan on NHK.

Darvish threw 36 pitches (that includes two pitchouts) to hitters for 10 minutes on Monday. He said he was pleased with the outing, especially the fact that he could move the screen away from him a little bit, allowing him to free up his delivery.

When asked what percentage he was throwing on Monday, Darvish replied: "120."

There was plenty of talk about his movement, noting how it was late and that Darvish could move it in and out and up and down. In other words: folks were impressed.
