SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Derek Holland looked sharp on the mound for the Rangers on Sunday. Here's six things that happened in Rangers camp:

1. Holland went three innings and did some work in the bullpen after his outing. He said he's working on everything this spring, particularly his consistency.

2. Manager Ron Washington said there won't be any changes in the way he uses the versatile Michael Young this season. He said he'll find ways to get Young out on the field.

3. Ian Kinsler was a late scratch to the lineup Sunday due to back tightness. When asked if he'll be ready to go Monday, Kinsler said, "We'll see."

4. Mike Napoli was out for the second straight game with a sore left groin as a precaution.

5. Brad Hawpe made his Rangers debut in Sunday's B game. He started at first base and went 0-for-2 with a walk.

6. Yu Darvish didn't throw, but he still drew a crowd while working on his conditioning Sunday. Washington poked fun of Darvish's swing. He smiled and said it's not a hitter's swing.
