SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Texas Rangers outfielder Craig Gentry said he's felt light-headed at times the past few days and will see a doctor today or Tuesday. He could have some sort of virus, but he's not in the lineup for tonight's game.

Rangers assistant GM Thad Levine said Gentry will have a "battery of tests" done on Tuesday.

"He was light-headed and some of the intial symptoms were consistent with being dehydrated," Levine said. "I think the tests are meant to rule out that there isn't anything more to it than that."

The Rangers were already in the market for a right-handed hitting outfielder and this may only spur on their attempts to get one. We'll see if Gentry is diagnosed and when he might be able to get back on the field. More on the outfield situation on Tuesday.

Other injury notes:

* Catcher Mike Napoli (ankle) caught back-to-back games for the first time this spring and was pleased with how he felt. "I could have caught the whole game yesterday," Napoli said. "I feel good today, too."

Napoli said he wasn't worried about how he might feel, but is glad that he was able to test the ankle and come out of it feeling fine.

* Neftali Feliz (shoulder stiffness) will pitch in a minor league game Tuesday night on the Kansas City side of the Surprise Recreation Campus. He was scheduled to pitch in the Cactus League game in the afternoon, but the club switched it because if he pitches in the "A" game, they can't backdate a stint on the disabled list if they need to. Feliz says he feels fine. The move is simply as a precaution just in case he experiences any problems.
