Matchup: Matt Harrison vs. Ricky Romero

5/2/2012

Matt Harrison looks to get back to his winning ways after getting shelled by Tampa Bay in his last start. Here's the matchup:

Harrison (3-1, 3.38 ERA): The Rays rocked Harrison so bad in his last start that concerns arose about whether he was tipping off his pitches. He gave up six earned runs off 14 hits, the most in his career.

Romero (3-0, 3.18 ERA): The young lefty is off to a hot start this season. Batters are hitting just .193 against him, but he has been prone to walks and high pitch counts.

Hitters: Adrian Beltre is 6-12 with four doubles but he is not in the lineup. Neither is Josh Hamilton, who is 0-4 -- all strikeouts. ... David Murphy is 5-12. ... Bad news for the Rangers is this Toronto lineup is hitting .393 against him in his career. ... Rajai Davis is 2-10.
