Want to take a photo next to Josh Hamilton's historic bat? You can do so tonight before it's sent to Cooperstown to be a part of a display at the Hall of Fame. Here's a release from the Rangers about it:

With a donation of $5.00 to the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation tonight, fans at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington have a special opportunity to take their photo with the bat before it is sent to Cooperstown and the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Fans should visit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation kiosk located on the Third Base Concourse near Section 13 and the Third Base Escalator. They should bring their own cameras or the FanFoto photographer will be available. Fans will NOT be permitted to pick the bat up. The bat will be available for photos from the time the gates open until 8:30 p.m.

Hamilton, who cracked the bat in his final plate appearance on Sunday versus the Los Angeles Angels, used that bat to hit all four homers last Tuesday in Baltimore, just the 16th four-homer game in Major League history. The Rangers outfielder also used that bat to hit eight of his nine home runs in a six-game stretch from May 7-12, when he became just the third player in major league history with nine homers and 15 RBI in a six-game span.
