ESPN Stats & Information (shout out to Andrew Davis, Sam Farber, Justin Havens, Keith Hawkins, Justin Havens, Doug Kern, Katie Sharp, Mark Simon and Nate Jones) put together a look at how Matt Harrison threw his masterful five-hit shutout against the San Francisco Giants:

* Mixed in off-speed pitches well, throwing 40 of 111 (36 percent). The Giants went 1-for-8 with four strikeouts on those pitches.

* Kept the ball out of the middle of the zone and changed eye level well. The Giants went a combined 0-for-12 in at-bats ending with a pitch above or below the belt (0-for-7 down, 0-for-5 up).

* Threw a first-pitch strike to 65 percent of batters faced, which is his third highest this season. When ahead in the count, the Giants couldn't hit Harrison going 0-for-13 with three strikeouts.
