ARLINGTON, Texas -- Texas Rangers television play-by-play announcer Dave Barnett will not work this weekend's series with the Colorado Rockies as he continues to be evaluated after having an on-air issue Monday night.

"We don't have all the results back and he continues to be evaluated," Rangers vice president of communications John Blake said. "Until we know what caused the issue Monday night and what the resolution is, he will not work Rangers games."

Barnett, 54, missed the final two games of the San Diego series so he could have tests done and has not completed those tests.
