ARLINGTON, Texas -- Alexi Ogando is expected to make a rehab start for Triple-A Round Rock on July 12.

Ogando threw two bullpen sessions during the Rangers' road series with the Chicago White Sox, including 40 pitches on Thursday. He is scheduled to throw a third bullpen session Saturday and said he felt good after throwing in Chicago.

"I feel about 90 percent in the bullpen," Ogando said.

Ogando said he could be ready to come back after two or three outings in Round Rock. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list after injuring his groin while trying to beat out a bunt against the San Francisco Giants on June 10.

Other injury updates:

Mitch Moreland (hamstring): Moreland said his hamstring is feeling better but that he is still limited. He has been stretching, jogging, and exercising in the pool. He has also been swinging off of a tee and could hit in the batting cages soon.

"It's coming along just as scheduled," Moreland said. "I'm pretty much swinging at will right now. If I can go, then I keep going. I'm just trying to stay within my comfort level. So far, there's not been a whole lot of limitations. I'm not running full speed or anything, but it's making progress."

Neftali Feliz (elbow): Feliz said he feels good after throwing 30 pitches in a bullpen session in Chicago. He is scheduled to throw in the bullpen again Saturday and expects to be back in late July.

Colby Lewis (forearm): Lewis said he feels good and has had no trouble stretching his forearm after being benched with excessive tightness. He threw 25 pitches (20 fastballs, five changeups) in a bullpen session Thursday in Chicago. He is not scheduled to make a rehab start and is confident he can start again after the All-Star break.

"I'll do what the organization wants, but we had talked about not having (a rehab start)," Lewis said. "I don't feel like I need one."

Koji Uehara (shoulder): Uehara is progressing in his rehab and is feeling better. He said through a translator that he will be throwing a bullpen session Friday.

Mark Lowe (intercostal muscle): Lowe said he is "playing it safe" with his strained right intercostal muscle. He said it still hurts when he breathes in deep, so he is trying to keep it rested. He is not throwing yet, but he said it shouldn't be long until he does.
