Rangers still No. 2 in ESPN power rankings

The Texas Rangers stayed at No. 2 in the ESPN.com power rankings this week, one spot behind the New York Yankees. The Washington Nationals are third as there was no change with the top-3. The top-5:

1. New York Yankees
2. Texas Rangers
3. Washington Nationals
4. Chicago White Sox
5. Cincinnati Reds

The AL West:

2. Texas Rangers
6. Los Angeles Angels (down two spots from last week)
18. Oakland A's (up one spot)
26. Seattle Mariners (same as last week)
