ARLINGTON, Texas -- Neftali Feliz delivered a much better performance in his third rehab start Tuesday night pitching for the Triple-A Round Rock Express against the Albuquerque Isotopes.

Feliz threw 54 pitches in three scoreless innings, allowing one hit, a walk and a hit batter while striking out three.

Ron Washington said prior to the Texas Rangers' game against the Boston Red Sox that he hoped to see an improved Feliz on Tuesday night.

"I'd like to see him get through his innings, and I'd like to see him get through them very impressively," Washington said.

Feliz went just 1 2/3 innings in his last start with Round Rock, allowing three hits and four runs.

Feliz is expected to make at least one more rehab start before rejoining the Rangers.
