ARLINGTON, Texas -- Texas Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler didn't want to get into details about what caused his ejection in the first inning of Tuesday's game, but he said something umpire Tim Tschida didn't care to hear.
Kinsler was ejected after he was called out on a pickoff by Clay Buchholz. Kinsler turned and spoke to Tschida, who wasted little time in tossing the second baseman.
"I said something I was not supposed to say," Kinsler said. "I thought I was safe, he thought I was out. I said something I wasn't supposed to and he threw me out."
It's the second ejection of the season for Kinsler, who was tossed on June 14 vs. Arizona for arguing balls and strikes from the dugout. The Rangers have had four ejections in 2012.
