Here's our weekly stock report, where we look at who's trending up and who's trending down over the past week.

STOCK UP

Streaking
Martin Perez: At a time when stock of prospects really matters, Perez's is up. He gave up one run on five hits in six innings Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox, and he did it in front of plenty of scouts. We'll see how that impacts his status at the trade deadline.

Craig Gentry: He is 7-for-19 in the past week with two RBIs and a big suicide squeeze in Wednesday's win over the Red Sox. Gentry continues to be a nice spark for an offense that is still looking to hit its stride.

STOCK DOWN

Slumping
Josh Hamilton: It seems that his every at-bat is scrutinized, but he's hitting .154 in July and has just three hits in the last week. He's working on some drills and trying to snap out of his slump, but it hasn't happened yet.

Colby Lewis: This is certainly no fault of his own, but the club's best postseason pitcher the past two seasons is out for the year with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Count me among those that hopes -- and expects -- Lewis to rehab and come back pitch well for someone (whether that's Texas or another team) in the future. His stock was way up before the injury and he was in line for a nice contract. It's a tough break for a warrior and a nice guy.
