ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Angels will go at it for the fourth straight day to wrap up this four-game series. The matchup features RHP Ryan Dempster vs. LHP C.J. Wilson at 7:05 p.m. on ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM/1540 AM/FSSW. A quick look at the matchup:

Dempster (5-5, 2.25): The 35-year-old is making his Rangers debut, despite being drafted by Texas in the third round of 1995 draft. ... He was acquired from the Chicago Cubs before Tuesday's trade deadline for two minor leaguers. ... It will be his 17th start of the season. ... His last start came at Pittsburgh on July 25 in a losing effort, giving up three runs on five hits with six strikeouts in six innings on the mound. ... From June 5-July 14, he had a scoreless inning streak of 33 innings. ... He won all five of his starts during that streak. ... It was the longest streak in the majors this season. ... During that six game span, he is 0-3 with a 4.23 ERA. ... He is making his fourth start of his career against the Rangers, his former team. ... It will also be his third start in Arlington facing Texas. ... In his last start in Arlington, he gave up two runs on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings of work. ... Threw six shutout inning in his last start against the Rangers on June 2nd in Anaheim, but got a no-decision. ... He is 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA lifetime against Texas.
