Washington: Roy Oswalt 'ran out of gas'
Rangers manager Ron Washington breaks down Saturday's 2-1 win against the Blue Jays. Washington also talks about Roy Oswalt's performance and the decision to pull him in the sixth inning.
On Oswalt's start and why he decided to pull him:
"Well I thought it was good. The first two innings he was sharp. He hadn't pitched in a while there, matter fact he hadn't pitched in nine days. He just sort of ran out of gas after he got passed the fourth inning there, then he went out and got two big outs in the fifth and I certaintly didn't want (Colby) Rasmus to come up there and happen to find a hole and everything that he had done to that point would have went down the drain ... That's when I brought in (Robbie) Ross."
