ARLINGTON, Texas -- The final game of this series between the Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins starts at 2:05 p.m. on ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM and FSSW and features RHP Scott Feldman and RHP Cole De Vries. A quick look:

Feldman (6-9, 4.77 ERA): He's making his 17th start of the 2012 campaign and has lost his last three starts after putting together a six-game win streak. ... He gave up five runs (four earned) on seven hits in five innings in a loss Tuesday to the Orioles. ... Feldman has allowed at least six hits in 10 straight starts. ... Is 2-1 with a 5.05 ERA with 16 strikeouts and 10 walks in 12 games (four starts) agianst the Twins in his career. ... Feldman is 4-5 with a 3.61 ERA in 12 games (nine starts) at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington this season.

De Vries (2-5, 4.89 ERA): His last start came Aug. 21 at Oakland and he allowed two runs on six hits with three walks and three strikeouts in a loss. ... He made his big league debut on May 24 at the White Sox and got his first win on June 4 at Kansas City. ... He was 3-5 with a 3.87 ERA in 13 starts for Triple-A Rochester before his contract was selected. ... He has one career start vs. Texas and threw seven shutout innings with five strikeouts and one walk on July 8 in Arlington.

Hitters: Only two Rangers have hits off De Vries: Ian Kinsler is 2-for-3 and Michael Young is 1-for-2. ... Joe Mauer is 5-for-15 with a homer and four RBIs off Feldman. ... Denard Span is 2-for-10.
