ARLINGTON, Texas -- Texas Rangers slugger Josh Hamilton is having a good August. He's batting .300 with six homers nad 27 RBIs -- the same he had in June and July combined.

But the task gets tougher for Hamilton. He faces David Price tonight, an ace who has had Hamilton's number throughout his career. Hamilton is just 4-for-24 (with no home runs) against Price during his career. According to ESPN Stats & Information, that's tied for the lowest batting average by Hamilton against any pitcher in which he's got at least 20 at-bats. He also has a .167 average against James Shields, who pitches Tuesday night for the Tampa Bay Rays (Hamilton is also hitting .167 off Felix Hernandez.

The 24 at-bats against Price without a home run are the second-most at-bats without a long ball off any pitcher for Hamilton. He's gone 26 at-bats without a homer off Trevor Cahill.
