Listen Listen
Harrison (15-7, 3.04 ERA): He's coming off the longest no-hit bid of his career, going 6 2/3 against the Twins before giving up back-to-back singles. For the second consecutive start he went eight innings and allowed just two hits, a feat only Detroit's Justin Verlander has accomplished in the AL since the start of the 2010 season. ... Harrison looks to build upon his team-high and career-high 15 victories and can potentially take his ERA below 3.00 for the first time since April 21. ... He's allowed five hits in his last 18 1/3 innings pitched ... His eight starts of at least eight innings ranks fourth in the majors behind Verlander (13), Felix Hernandez (11) and Clayton Kershaw (9).

Cobb (8-8, 4.32 ERA): The 24-year-old will make his 18th start of the season and his coming off the first shutout of his pro career, a four-hitter in a 5-0 win over Oakland. ... He's the second-youngest pitcher this season to throw a shutout. ... He's gone seven or more innings in five of his last six starts and has allowed one run or less in four of his last four starts. ... He's won four consecutive decisions and is 4-0 in August. He would become the first pitcher in club history to win five games in August and just the third to ever win five games in a month. ... In his lone start against Texas, earned a no-decision and went 6 1/3 innings, allowing three runs and four hits on May 31, 2011 in a 5-4 victory.

Hitters: Michael Young, Adrian Beltre and Ian Kinsler are the only Rangers to have hits -- all singles -- off Cobb, who has faced just six current Rangers. ... Evan Longoria has six hits (2 HRs) in 10 at-bats against Harrison with seven RBIs. ... B.J. Upton, Desmond Jennings and Jeff Keppinger have between seven and 10 at-bats against Harrison and all are batting at least .375.
