Feldman (6-10, 4.95 ERA): He's looking to end a string of four consceutive losses. ... In that span, he's 0-4 with a 6.45 ERA and is the only Rangers starter to lose four straight decisions this season (he's done it twice, losing first first six starts). ... In his last start, Feldman gave up six runs (five earned) on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings with one walk and four strikeouts. ... He's pitching with an extra day of rest thanks to Thursday's off day. ... He's 2-1 with a 3.48 ERA in 10 games (three starts) in his career vs. Cleveland. ... He hasn't started against Cleveland since Sept. 9, 2009, when he pitched seven shutout innings in a 10-0 Rangers win. ... Feldman is 3-4 with a 3.80 ERA in seven starts since the All-Star break. He was voted Rangers player of the month for July after earning three of the club's nine wins.

Hernandez (0-3, 7.53 ERA): He dealt with some inflammation in his ankle, but is slated to make the start. ... Hernandez, formerly known as Fausto Carmona, has made three starts since being activated. His last one was also his shortest one, after spraining his ankle backing up a throw to home in the third inning. Hernandez gave up three runs on four hits in 2 1/3 innings against the Oakland A's. ... Before that, Hernandez went six innings in each of his first two starts of 2012. He allowed nine runs on 13 hits in 12 innings in losses to Seattle and the Los Angeles Angels. ... He's 2-8 with a 5.37 ERA in 12 career starts vs. Texas.

Hitters: Josh Hamilton is 7-for-22 with one homer and five RBIs. ... Nelson Cruz (5-for-16, 3 HRs), Elvis Andrus (5-for-14) and David Murphy (7-for-14) have hit Hernandez well. ... Adrian Beltre is 3-for-13 in his career off Hernandez. ... Asdrubal Cabrera (4-for-7) and Grady Sizemore (4-for-8) have performed well against Feldman. ... Jack Hannahan (3-for-17) and Johnny Damon (2-for-12) have struggled against him.
