It's Friday, so it's time to look at whose stock is rising and falling. A look:

Streaking
STOCK UP

Adrian Beltre: The third baseman continues to impress in the field and at the plate. He's got five homers since last week and is batting nearly .500 the past week. He finished just behind Miguel Cabrera in the race for AL player of the month for August.

Ryan Dempster: In two starts the past week, Dempster allowed two earned runs in 12 innings and got two wins. He's become steady for the Rangers and a key trade deadline acquisition.

Jurickson Profar: His big league debut sure was memorable as he homered in his first at-bat and also had a double last week against Cleveland.

Slumping
STOCK DOWN

Alexi Ogando: He hasn't pitched much recently, but gave up two runs with a walk on Wednesday night, helping make what appeared to be an easy victory a little tighter.

Mitch Moreland: Has shown signs the past few games, but is still struggling overall the past week. He's 3-for-19 on this road trip.
