Register for chance to buy World Series tickets

The Texas Rangers announced today that fans can register through Sunday for a chance to purchase tickets to possible 2012 World Series games at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Fans can go to texasrangers.com/opportunity and register for the chance to buy up to two tickets for one of the three possible 2012 World Series games at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Following registration, a pool of randomly selected registrants will be chosen and provided access to an online pre-sale opportunity, based on available inventory. Those selected will be notified by email no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26. The Online Ticket Opportunity for those selected will take place on Friday, September 28.

There is no charge to register for this opportunity, which will be the only option for fans to purchase individual tickets to possible 2012 World Series games at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Fans who registered prior to the ALDS or ALCS Ticket Opportunities deadlines do not need to register again. Their registration is still valid for the World Series opportunity, regardless of their selection in the ALDS or ALCS Ticket Opportunities.

There is a possibility of up to three World Series games that could be played at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Tickets may be purchased for Game 3 (Saturday, October 27), Game 4 (Sunday, October 28), or Game 5 (Monday, October 29) of the World Series at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Lower Box; Lexus Club Terrace; Corner Box: $240

Lower Reserved: $190

Upper Home Run Porch; Upper Box; Upper Reserved; Outfield Plaza: $125

Grandstand Reserved: $95

Standing Room: $50
