Infielder Chris McGuiness will represent the Texas Rangers in the Arizona Fall League's Rising Stars Game on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick at 7 p.m. Dallas time. The game will be broadcast on MLB Network.

McGuiness, 24, is hitting .278 with three homers and 13 RBIs. He's a left-handed hitting first baseman playing for Surprise right now.

He played 2012 for Double-A Frisco and batted .268 with 23 homers and 77 RBIs in 123 games (456 at-bats). He had 107 strikeouts and 69 walks.

McGuiness was co-player of the week in the AFL in early October, going 7-for-16 with two homers and a 1.078 OPS. He came to Texas as part of the Jarrod Saltalamacchia deal with the Boston Red Sox at the trade deadline in 2010.
