The second update from voting for the 2014 All-Star Game was released for the American League side Monday and showed that the Rangers have some work to do if they want to be voted in by fans to the game in Minnesota in mid-July. A look at the voting and how the Rangers (and former Rangers) look:

* Adrian Beltre has the most votes of any Ranger -- nearly 500,000 -- but is still third among AL third baseman. Josh Donaldson has nearly doubled Beltre's total so far. Evan Longoria is second.

* Elvis Andrus has dropped out of the top-5. The shortstop was fourth last week, but is now behind Jed Lowrie, who sits in fifth. Derek Jeter leads vote-getters at shortstop.

* Alex Rios was the only Rangers' player to make a move up in the standings. He is now 12th among outfielders (was 15th last week), though still more than 400,000 votes behind third-place (the top-3 start the game).

* Shin-Soo Choo slipped from eighth to 11th this week, just slightly ahead of teammate Rios.

* Former Ranger and current Baltimore DH Nelson Cruz, whose team visits Arlington starting Tuesday, overtook David Ortiz at the DH spot with 888,855 votes.

* Detroit second baseman Ian Kinsler, traded from Texas this offseason for the now-injured Prince Fielder, is second to Robinson Cano at second base.

* Josh Hamilton, who left Texas after the 2012 season, is 14th among outfielders.
