It's time for the weekly stock report. Let's take a look at some Texas Rangers whose stock is rising or falling:

STOCK UP

Streaking
Adrian Beltre: He had a homestand to remember, hitting .472 (17-for-36) during the nine games to boost his batting average 32 points. He's also riding a five-game hitting streak.

Yu Darvish: The Rangers' ace did something he hadn't done since arriving in Texas in 2012: a complete-game shutout. He also had 10 strikeouts in Wednesday's 6-0 win over the Miami Marlins, the 24th time he's had at least 10 strikeouts in a game. That's tied for the second most in club history with Bobby Witt, behind Nolan Ryan's 34. Now the question is whether he can overcome the mental hurdle of performing well against the Oakland Athletics.

Rougned Odor: He's hit safely in five straight games, batting .467 in that stretch (7-for-15), and is now batting a season-best .312.

STOCK DOWN

Slumping
Leonys Martin: Perhaps few are more eager to get out of town than Martin, who hit .192 (5-for-26) and had one more error (two) than RBI (one). Martin had some mental miscues and just struggled overall. The Rangers need Martin to play better and make smarter decisions on the field.

More injuries: In the past week, the Rangers have added Tanner Scheppers and Mitch Moreland to the disabled list. Moreland is seeking a second opinion on his ankle and trying to determine his surgery options. Scheppers has elbow inflammation and will be shut down for at least three weeks. It seems like injuries appear on this report every week. When you've used the DL 20 times and it's only mid-June, that's going to happen.

Long games: It also seems that few teams play as many long games as the Rangers, doesn't it? Even the three-hour games seem like they take six. Texas has played 11 games that have lasted at least 3½ hours this season, and a few of those were during the nine-game homestand.
