Rangers won't be shut out again
A day after getting shut out by Toronto's Ricky Romero, the Rangers didn't take long to get on the board Sunday against Brandon Morrow.
Ian Kinsler led off the second with a double, moved to third on Justin Smoak's single and scored on Matt Treanor's sacrifice fly to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead.
The Rangers had first and third with no out in the first, too, but couldn't cash in. Michael Young was nailed trying to steal second on a strike-out, throw-out with Josh Hamilton at the plate, and Nelson Cruz whiffed to strand David Murphy at third.
