Vlad's RBI takes review out of play
It appeared that Ian Kinsler hit the first Rangers home run at Target Field with a shot to left in the fourth.
But TV angles showed the ball, which did not ricochet back onto the field, went just foul, threading the small gap between the pole and the stands to the left. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire appealed for a review and won, leaving Kinsler with an 0-2 count.
Kinsler followed with a double to right and proceeded to steal third uncontested. Vladimir Guerrero brought him home with a single up the middle, tying the score 1-1.
The Twins struck first in the third inning. Joe Mauer's single up the middle scored the speedy Orlando Hudson from second.
