Derek Holland takes loss for OKC

The Rangers prospect pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing four runs and seven hits -- including two home runs -- while striking out four and walking one. Doug Mathis relieved Holland and threw for 1 1/3 innings, allowing a run and a hit.
Tanner Scheppers made an appearance out of the bullpen, keeping Iowa from scoring while allowing two hits and striking out two in two innings of work.
Chris Davis increased his batting average to .353 with Oklahoma City, collecting a double and pushing two runs home. Max Ramirez had two hits and drove in a run.
