Long ball lengthens Blue Jays' lead

Tommy Hunter got roughed up to the tune of five runs in the third inning.

Vernon Wells, a thorn in the Rangers' side, blasted a three-run homer. Lyle Overbay got an extra-base hit when Jeff Francoeur misplayed the bounce on a ball in right field. The next batter, Aaron Hill, sent one into the stands to give the Blue Jays a 6-0 lead.

Michael Young stopped the bleeding with a nicely turned 6-4-3 double play.
