Felix Hernandez mowing down Rangers

Seattle ace Felix Hernandez has not allowed a hit to the Rangers, striking out seven and retiring all but leadoff batter Elvis Andrus (walk) in the process.

The Mariners, who have five stolen bases, have slowed their pace due in part to three double plays. C.J. Wilson has also settled down but needs for his offense to break through if the Rangers are to extend their winning streak to eight.

Julio Borbon, the ninth batter in the Rangers' order, attempted to spark the bats with a bunt in the sixth but was thrown out and booed by Mariners fans.
