Buster Posey just misses 2-run homer
By Jeff Caplan
ARLINGTON, Texas -- San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey got the first good lick off Cliff Lee, but it'll go down in the scorebook as a routine fly to right.
With Freddy Sanchez on first after a two-out single, Posey drilled Lee's first pitch, a 92 mph fastball to right, drifting toward center. The shot kept going back until Nelson Cruz tracked it down at the top of the wall for a long third out to keep Game 5 scoreless.
Heading to the bottom of the sixth, the Rangers still have one hit and are scoreless in their last 17 innings.
