Mound Matchup: Wilson vs. Santana

The three-game series between the Rangers and Angels closes today with C.J. Wilson taking on Ervin Santana. Here's the matchup.
Rangers:C.J. Wilson (4-2, 3.36): The ace of the Rangers staff makes his ninth start of the season. Wilson had an uneven start in his last outing, walking five while allowing five earned runs on just two hits in seven innings of work in a 7-2 loss to Oakland. ... Wilson is 3-1 with a 3.25 ERA in his last six starts vs. the Angels. In 27 career starts at home he's 14-7 having won four of his last five outings vs. the Angels. ... Wilson's 48 strikeouts are the ninth most in the AL and while that is good, opponents are 9-for-9 in stolen-base attempts against him this season.
