Notes: Davis returns, Kinsler on leave
By Richard Durrett
ARLINGTON, Texas -- The hitting coach change isn't the only thing going on tonight in Rangers-land. Here are a few other notes for you to chew on:
* Ian Kinsler is on MLB paternity leave after he welcomed his second child, Jack Jamisson Kinsler, Wednesday afternoon. Chris Davis takes his place.
* Brandon Webb hopes to throw a bullpen session Saturday in Frisco and then another early next week. If all goes well, he could end up pitching a few innings in a game late next week, but that has not been determined yet. Webb threw long toss again today and felt good.
* Matt Harrison has still not passed his kidney stone. He said he didn't sleep last night and had another CT scan. He'll get the results at some point, but he's just dealing with the pain and hoping it dissolves. It's not clear if he'll be able to make his next start.
* We'll have more on the third day of the Rangers' draft soon, but as I'm sure you read here, the RAgne. Classy stuff.
