Matchup: Alexi Ogando-Jair Jurrjens

ATLANTA -- The series finale could be a very interesting duel between RHP Alexi Ogando and RHP Jair Jurrjens. It all gets started at 12:35 p.m. Dallas time on FSSW and ESPN 103.3 FM. A quick look at the matchup:
Ogando (7-1, 2.71 ERA): The 27-year-old is hoping to bounce back after suffering his first loss as a starter in New York. Ogando gave up six runs on six hits in just 1 2/3 innings. Six of the seven final batters Ogando faced reached base. ... It was the first time this season Ogando didn't throw at least six innings and it snapped five straight starts of at least 100 pitches. ... He earned his first win of his career last year in interleague play and, according to the Elias Sports Bureau, was the third pitcher since 1900 to get relief wins in his first three career appearances. ... He's 2-1 with a 3.75 ERA in six road starts with 23 strikeouts and six walks. ... He has a 12.38 ERA in two starts at Yankee Stadium and a 1.28 ERA in his four other road starts. ... He has never faced the Braves.
Jurrjens (8-3, 2.13 ERA): The 24-year-old is also coming off his shortest start of the season, lasting 5 1/3 innings and allowing four runs on eight hits with five walks and three strikeouts in a loss to the Mets. ... It ended an 11-start streak of at least six innings pitched -- all quality starts. ... The five walks were a season-high and one fewer than he threw all of May. ... Jurrjens leads the National League with a 2.13 ERA and is third in walks among starters with just 16. He has 49 strikeouts. ... He's made one start against Texas, back on Sept. 11, 2007. He gave up one run on three hits in five innings and got the win.
Hitters: Texas hitters are 2-for-13 against Jurrjens. Only Ian Kinsler and Michael Young have hits off Jurrjens. ... The only Atlanta hitter Ogando has faced is Dan Uggla, who is 0-for-1 with a walk.
