Notes: Derek Holland available in bullpen
By Richard Durrett
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Rangers manager Ron Washington said his entire pitching staff, except for starters Colby Lewis and C.J. Wilson, are available to pitch in Game 4 today.
That includes starter Derek Holland, who was able to grind through in Game 2 of the ALDS on Saturday. Washington said if he needs Holland, it might be for a few batters or even an inning at some point.
Closer Neftali Feliz, who threw 25 pitches in Game 3, is also available.
"It's all hands on deck," Washington said. "Whoever I need to get out there, I'll get them."
* Josh Hamilton came into the interview room looking loose and relaxed. Why? "I'm deliriously tired right now." It's a quick turnaround after Game 3 with a Game 4 start at 2:07 p.m. Eastern time. Joe Maddon was asked if that was good for his team since they lost Game 3. "I prefer a little bit more rest, personally," Maddon said.
