Injuries: Yorvit Torrealba still ill

By Richard Durrett

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Catcher Yorvit Torrealba is still at his Arizona home dealing with illness and will not be at camp Friday.

Torrealba complained of a nasal congestion or allergy issues Thursday and was sent home. It means he won't play in either intrasquad game. Right now, the starting catchers listed for today's game are Chris Robinson and Dusty Brown (Brown will probably catch Yu Darvish's third inning).

Other injuries:

* Brad Hawpe (soreness in right hamstring) probably won't do much for the next two or three days. He said he felt it cramp up on him Thursday and will monitor it, but he didn't appear concerned.

* LHP Joe Beimel (elbow stiffness) is expected to throw to live hitters Saturday. He said he's felt good the past few days and doesn't feel any issues.

* SS Elvis Andrus (Plantar's wart) is once again in the lineup for the club's second intrasquad game.

* LHP Kelvin De La Cruz (forearm soreness) is scheduled to long toss today.
