Josh Hamilton exits with tight groin
By Richard Durrett
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton came out of Friday's 5-3 win over the Colorado Rockies after seven innings with a tight left groin.
Hamilton is listed as day-to-day.
"He said it was tight, so I told him to get out of here," manager Ron Washington said.
Hamilton had a double that drove in two runs in the fifth, giving the Rangers the lead that they would hold for the remainder of the game. He is hitting .236 this spring and has yet to hit a home run.
