ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Rangers go for two wins in a row over Cleveland and three straight overall when Derek Holland faces Corey Kluber at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday night on Fox Sports Southwest, ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM and ESPN Deportes Dallas 1540 AM.

Holland (5-2, 2.82): Holland has been a dominant starter for the Rangers with a 4-0 record and a 2.40 ERA in seven starts since the beginning of May. ... He has lowered his ERA from 3.38 to 2.82. ... Holland has been even better in his last three starts, going 2-0 with a 1.37 ERA. ... He will pitch on four days' rest. ... Holland threw 115 pitches in six innings for a no-decision in a 6-3 walk-off loss to Boston. ... Holland has allowed one or less walks in seven of his 12 starts. ... He has not allowed a run in the first two innings in any start this season. ... Holland is ninth in the American League in ERA. ... He has given up four home runs in 79 2/3 innings. ... The 26-year-old right-hander allowed two home runs in the first two innings and gave up all six runs in the first two frames. ... Then, he settled down and retired 13 of the next 16 batters. ... He finished with eight strikeouts and a walk. ... Kluber is 3-2 with a 4.72 ERA on the road this season. ... He has a 1.65 ERA in four appearances, including two starts, against AL West opponents. ... Kluber throws a mid-90s fastball and his slider is his out pitch.
Hitters:A.J. Pierzynski is the only Ranger who has faced Kluber in a major league game and the catcher has a hit in five at-bats. Carlos Santana (6-for-16, 2 HRs, 7 RBIs) has been very tough on Holland.
