Darvish isn't concerned about who will or won't be in the Yankees lineup, and if he was, he wouldn't say. But he won't be trying to get Derek Jeter out or Mark Teixeira out.
"I think their lineup has changed completely," Darvish said on Sunday. "I know Jeter is not playing and I don't know who else is in the lineup. I will study them, and then we'll have a meeting and I'll come up with a game plan."
Darvish's main goal is to end a six-game winless streak that goes all the way back to mid-May. The Rangers have fought their way back into first place, but they need more from their ace. Darvish fell behind early against Oakland last Tuesday, allowing two early home runs as the Rangers lost 6-2.
Darvish is 0-2 in his last six starts with a 2.66 ERA. The Rangers have only scored nine runs for him in that span.
