Gerald Sensabaugh out 3-4 weeks
Kevin Connor, Sensabaugh's agent, said he's asking famed orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews to review the MRI results.
Conner asking for a second opinion isn't a big deal. It's just an agent looking out for his client.
Sensabaugh, who was injured in the first quarter of Saturday's 16-14 victory over San Diego, will miss the rest of the preseason.
After Saturday's game, Sensabaugh gave a thumbs up when asked was he OK.
Also, starting inside linebacker Keith Brooking has a mild sprain of the AC joint in his right shoulder. There is some swelling, but not enough to cause the Cowboys serious concern. Brooking most likely will miss the rest of the preseason as a precaution.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the injury is not something that will linger during the season. Outside linebacker Anthony Spencer suffered the same problem in practice this week and played in Saturday's game. Brooking will be evaluated day-to-day in terms of participating in practice.
Brooking was injured in the first half.
Sean Lee, the second-round pick from Penn State, replaced Brooking in the first-team lineup.
Barry Church, an undrafted rookie from Toledo, took Sensabaugh's spot in the lineup.
