The Mavericks' starting center is Brendan Haywood. Tyson Chandler, a starter for most of his career, has no issue with that.
"I’m OK with it," Chandler told ESPN 103.3's Chuck Cooperstein. "I’ve respected Brendan’s game for a long time. I competed against him a lot."
Those competitions weren't always friendly.
"We got in a couple fights," Chandler said with a laugh. "But it’s passion. I’m very passionate about the game. It’s all about winning ballgames. However coach sees that fit, whatever minutes it is, I’m sure I’m going to find my way on the floor."
