Glennie the left the game early Wednesday with an apparent injury, but there
weren't many details on what the problem was or his status.
“I don’t think it is anything serious," Brandon head coach Kelly McCrimmon
told media following the game. "The doctors told us they didn't want him going
back into the game so we respected that decision.”
Glennie had no points and a minus-one rating for the Wheat Kings, who finished
round-robin play with a 1-2 record. The winner of Friday's game between Brandon
and Calgary (2-1) will play Windsor (3-0) in Sunday's championship game.
Calgary, which beat Brandon in five games during the Western Hockey League
playoffs, built a 5-1 lead in the first period of Wednesday's game.
Moncton, which went 0-3 in round-robin play, has been eliminated.
