Lehtinen activated off injured reserve

Stars right wing Jere Lehtinen has been activated from injured reserve and is expected to play tonight against Colorado.

Lehtinen suffered a neck injury on Jan. 16 against Detroit and has missed the last five games. The 36-year-old has three goals and eight assists in 32 games for the Stars this season. He has 242 goals and 266 assists in 849 career games (third-most in franchise history). He was Dallas' fourth-round pick in 1992.

UPDATE: The paperwork didn't go through in time for Lehtinen to be active for tonight's game against Colorado.
