*Forward Scott Glennie (1st round/2009) has 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) in his first 4 games since rejoining the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League after Dallas Stars training camp. In a game against Saskatoon on Friday Glennie registered the Gordie Howe Hat Trick, picking up a goal, an assist and a fighting major. A video of the fight can be found here.
*Goalie Jack Campbell (1st round/2010) was pulled after two periods in his last game with the Windsor Spitfires after giving up five goals on 22 shots. Campbell is now 2-3-0 with a 4.93 goals against average and .853 save percentage. After starting Windsor’s first five games, Campbell did not play in the sixth game, which was Sunday.
"Maybe we've overplayed Jack a little," Spitfires coach Bob Jones told the Windsor Star.
*Defenseman Jace Coyle (free agent signing) has 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) in his first two games since rejoining the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL following Dallas Stars training camp.
*Defenseman Patrik Nemeth (2nd round/2010) has 2 assists in 5 games for AIK and ranks 11th in the Swedish Elite League with an average ice time of 23:14 per game.
*The college season kicks off with a full slate of games this weekend.
