Ray Sawada sent to AHL's Texas Stars

The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has assigned right wing Ray Sawada to the Texas Stars – Dallas’ primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Sawada, 24, has played in five games for Dallas this season, going scoreless. Dallas’ second round pick (52nd overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, he has appeared in 36 games with Texas this season, scoring three goals and six assists.

Dallas will face-off against the Calgary Flames tonight in Alberta at 8:30 pm (CT).
