About the Stars

The Stars are coming off a 4-2 win at St. Louis on Sunday. It snapped a two-game losing streak for the Stars and ran their winning streak on the road to five games. The Stars trailed 2-1 going into the third period, but scored three unanswered goals to secure the victory.

“I think it is a big deal when you come back, especially on a team like St. Louis,” said Stars coach Marc Crawford. “They played well tonight, it was a hard game, everybody knew the implications of the game and you knew it was going to be a battle, as every game that we’ve played against them has been. We got key performances tonight at key times.”

The Stars are 13-5-3 in their last 21 games overall.

Kari Lehtonen is scheduled to start in goal for the Stars.

Injuries: No major injuries

About the Blackhawks

Chicago snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-3 win at Los Angeles Monday night. Captain Jonathan Toews, back in the lineup after missing two games with a shoulder injury, had the game-winning goal and an assist.

"We knew it was going to be a tight game, so we just stuck it out. But we want to be better defensively than we were," Toews said. "There were some lapses, especially on the penalty kill, that weren't good for us. But we just found a way and that's the main thing."

Wednesday’s game kicks off a four-game homestand for the Blackhawks.

Injuries: No major injuries
